As you know the conference is fast approaching and since we’ve grown as team I’d like to reconfirm attendance and hotel requirements for everyone.

Please see below the key event information and I’d like to invite everyone to attend the official briefing call on DATE which you’ve been invited to via teams.

If you are unable to attend the briefing call I’ll be sharing the slides afterwards but at a minimum I require everyone to complete the form below.

Activities - Daytime

If you are part of the activities team, please the key information below.

Welcome Event - Evening

Doors to The VOX for the Welcome Event, sponsored by Clear 21 open at 5pm so please can staff return to the Vox foyer ready to welcome guests at 4.45pm.

Drinks available FOC for the whole evening, there will be no cash bar.

Food to be served at 7pm in the Foyer (unlike last year the whole welcome event will be in the Foyer)

THURSDAY 9TH MAY

Conference Day

Doors open to the VOX Foyer at 8am our first welcome will commence in VOX 3 & 5 at 9.30am. Please can staff be in the Vox for 7.45am to ensure they are ready for when guests arrive.

Fix Auto UK Awards, sponsored by Nationwide Vehicle Recovery

Staff are required to in the VOX Foyer for 6:30pm for when doors open.

Please encourage people down from the Sky Bar as we have a drinks reception at 6.30pm.

Delegates will receive their free glass of bubbly as they enter VOX 2 to 5.

At 18:50 Delegates will be asked to take their seats

Starters are being served at 19.00pm

Fix Auto UK National Awards will commence at 19.15pm with the main course served once the awards have finished.

Welcome comedian Ed Bryne to the stage at 21.00pm

The event will close at midnight on the Thursday evening.

BOARDROOMS & STAFF AREAS

BOARDROOM ONE - CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM ROOM

This room has multiple meetings going on over the event. Please refrain from going in here.

BOARDROOM TWO - MEETING ROOM

This room is for the Fix Auto UK Customer Service Team only.

There will be tea and coffee available in the room but please keep this room tidy as the event team have to tidy these in the early hours of Friday.

BOARDROOM THREE - EVENT MANAGERS

This room is where Grace, Morgan and Issy will be situated. Please only enter this room if you have a question or need us as we will have speakers/moderator in there to prep for their speeches.

VOX 1 - FIX AUTO UK STAFF AREA

This room is for all Fix Auto UK staff, including the accounts team and customer service team who will be working throughout the day. Staff are allowed to leave any coats or valuables in here.

There will be tea and coffee available in the room but please keep this room tidy as the event team have to tidy these in the early hours of Friday.

YOUR HOTEL - THE MOXY

Your access includes a two night stay in The Moxy on Wednesday 8th May and Thursday 9th May.

The Moxy Birmingham NEC has a fitness centre, shared lounge, free WiFi, 24-hour front desk and a business centre.

The accommodation features evening entertainment and luggage storage space. At the hotel, the rooms are fitted with a desk, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels.

Check in is available from 3pm and rooms will be under your name at the reception desk and check out is at midday.

We have covered the cost of the room with breakfast Thursday & Friday morning, additional charges will need to be covered by the delegate.

Breakfast is served in the main restaurant on the ground floor from 6.30am to 10am. The daily breakfast offers buffet, continental or Full English/Irish options.

GETTING TO YOUR HOTEL

The Moxy can be accessed via a footpath around Pendigo Lake as shown above.

We suggest parking first in our designated car park S6 as there is no parking outside The Moxy. The Resorts World Lake entrance is situation between The Moxy and S6.

GETTING TO THE VOX & PARKING

The VOX Conference Centre can be accessed via the Lakeside Entrance or the main shopping level.

The path from the S6 car park and The Moxy will lead you to the Lakeside entrance into Resorts World, whereby the VOX is situated on the second floor of the VOX - there is a lift outside Nandos. Alternatively if you come in via the main shopping level the lift is by Las Iguana’s.

We suggest parking first in our designated car park S6 as there is no parking outside The Moxy. The Resorts World Lake entrance is situation between The Moxy and S6. Parking is S6 is free you just need to validate your car parking ticket at the event registration desk.

If you are travelling by train/bus to Birmingham International Station you’ll be able to get to us via the walkway through the NEC.
