Wednesday Daytime - Networking Activities
Before the event officially begins, as a two day delegate you will have access to one of our networking activities which include Golf at Stonebridge Golf Centre, Afternoon Tea at the Sky Bar at the Resorts World Resort or Clay Pigeon shooting or Go Karting at Adventure Sport Warwick. If you have chosen to take part in an activity (delegates don’t have to take part), starting times will vary so please see below:

Wednesday Evening - Welcome Event
The official start of our national conference begins with the Welcome Event.
Held in the Vox Conference Centre Foyer, delegates are invited to join us at 5pm until 10pm. Let the networking commence as our event partners exhibition stands will be open throughout the welcome event.
Celebrate the first evening of our conference with drinks on arrival with food to be served at 7pm.
THURSDAY 28TH MAY
Thursday Daytime - Conference Day
Day two of our National Conference is the main event! Doors to the event open at 8.30am with the official welcome at 10.10am in Vox 3 to 5 inside the Vox Conference Centre. Exhibitors will be open from 8.30am until 4.00pm in the Vox Foyer.
Our first network will be at 8.30am to 9.15am followed by 10.30am to 11.30am and lastly at 13.00pm to 15.00pm.
Speakers conclude at approximately 4.00pm.
Delegates will need to leave the Vox foyer at 4.15pm so we can change over for the evening event.
Thursday Evening - Fix Auto UK Awards
Each year, we celebrate our Franchise Partners and their achievements over the year.
Event attendees are invited to join us for the celebrations at 6.30pm in the Vox Conference rooms. Guests will be met with a drink on arrival and will be seated ahead of the Fix Auto UK National Awards which begin at 7.15pm.
Starters will be served at 7pm with the main course and dessert served once the awards have concluded.
At 9pm we’ll be welcoming our evening entertainment to the stage before the event closes at midnight.
YOUR HOTEL - THE GENTING
KEY INFORMATION
The Genting Hotel has a spa and pool, fitness centre, shared lounge, free WiFi and a 24-hour front desk.
All of our rooms include 1.30h spa access (subject to availability), open 7.00am - 10.00am & 3.00pm - 9.45pm. Simply pop by Santai Spa on the 2nd floor, check-in at the reception desk and the team will be able to check availability for you.
The accommodation features evening entertainment and luggage storage space. At the hotel, the rooms are fitted with a desk, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels.
Check in is available from 3.00pm and rooms will be under your name at the reception desk and check out is at 11.00am.
We have covered the cost of the room with breakfast, additional charges will need to be covered by the delegate.
Breakfast is served in the main restaurant on the ground floor from 6.30am to 10.00am. The daily breakfast offers buffet, continental or Full English/Irish options.
GETTING TO YOUR HOTEL
The Genting can be accessed via the Lakeside Entrance or the main shopping level of Resorts World.
We suggest parking first in our designated car park S6 as spaces here can be validated here. The Genting does have an underground car park, however spaces are charged at £20 per night.
GETTING TO THE VOX
The VOX Conference Centre can be accessed via the Lakeside Entrance or the main shopping level of Resorts World.
The path from the S6 car park will lead you to the Lakeside entrance into Resorts World, whereby the VOX is situated on the second floor - there is a lift outside Nandos. Alternatively if you come in via the main shopping level the lift is by Las Iguana’s.
ON THE DAY
The VOX is situated on the second floor of the Resorts World Shopping Complex - there is a lift outside Nando’s. Alternatively if you come in via the main shopping level the lift is by Las Iguana’s. On arrival, please sign in at the registration desk where you will be issued an ID card and a lanyard. This will ensure you are able to access the venue throughout the event.
RESORTS WORLD
Outside of the Conference opening hours, Resorts World has plenty of amenities.
The Sky Bar can be accessed via a lift from the second floor or by the Genting Hotel on the first floor and is open from 8.00am to 10.00pm.
The Casino is on the first floor and is open from 10.00am to 5.00am - please note a membership is required which can be obtained upon entry.
CAR PARKING
We ask that all delegates park in South 6 which is situated a short walk from the Resorts World Lakeside Entrance and will be signposted for delegates. Parking in S6 is free, you just need to validate your car parking ticket at the event registration desk.
There is a multi-storey car park inside Resorts World that has limited availability and is not free for delegates. It does have an EV charge points on level B of our multi-storey car park, they are a mix of 7kw and 22kw chargers which are charged at 49p per kWh.

THURSDAY DAYTIME
Business Casual:
For example: blazer, crew or v neck sweater, chinos, suit trousers and a shirt with a collar and smart shoes, ties optional.

For example: Golfing attire if you are golfing, or as you see fit for the activity or set up that you’ll be doing.
