Exhibitor Information

Stand Allocation

The exhibition space is a circle meaning the set up area is fairly restricted as to how far stands can go. We need to maintain a 3m distance from the centre pillars and main fire exits so we ask that stands don’t come out further than 2m.

Within your exhibition space we supply a table, table cloth and two chairs as standard but if you do not need these then we can remove them.

Gold Partners exhibition stand size: 3m wide

Platinum Partners, Diamond and Presenting exhibition stand size: 6m wide

Power Supply

The venue can supply power however please bring your own extension cables if they’re required.

Please note all wires will need to be taped down if they are exposed and electronics will need to be PAT tested.

SET UP & BREAKDOWN

For the set up and breakdown portion of the event we’re able to utilise Resorts World’s underground loading bay. From here, we can access The Vox via the internal corridors of which the Fix Auto UK team can help load kit in. Sponsors will need to book their slot via the exhibitor form as well as provide the car/van reg and the main contact for set up via the exhibitor form. Please email Grace Weddell via gweddell@fixauto.co.uk for any amends to your slot booking.

Please see some important information to note:

  • Please note we have been granted 15/20 minute slots in which vehicles can be parked in the loading bay. This is because we share the loading bay with Resorts World who will also be using the loading bay for daily deliveries.

  • Please unload your vehicle within the slot before removing your vehicle and parking it in our allocated car park - S6. Please do not start setting up whilst your car is in the loading bay.

  • We can assist with taking the stand contents up to the Foyer.

  • During load in we are allowed two cars at a time so we will need to stick to the allocated loading in times as show below.

What happens when you arrive via the load in bay?

  • Please arrive at the service yard (location below) at your allotted time, if you are running late, please message/call Grace Weddell

  • You will be held at the top of the ramp, by a security guard. They will confirm the business name and vehicle reg with the Resorts World Control Room.

  • Once satisfied, will advise which zone to park in (there are four zones marked 1, 2, 3 & 4). They will also indicate that the driver can proceed by changing the traffic light from red to green.

  • The driver is to park the vehicle in the allocated parking zone he has been advised to do so by the Control Room and immediately start to offload the vehicle. Please don’t leave your vehicles in the loading bay whilst you set up as it impacts the rest of the allocated slots and the whole venue.

  • At the bottom you will be met by the Martin Willis, Steve Lawrence and Carl Norton of Fix Auto UK who will help you load in.

  • Once the vehicle contents has been emptied, please remove the vehicle from the loading bay and park in S6

Loading in without the use of a loading bay

  • For those who do not require a loading bay there are a couple of options. You can either park in the free car park (S6) and then walk to the lakeside entrance where you’ll be able to take a lift up to the second floor (by Nandos) to the Conference Venue (The Vox). Or you can park in the Resorts World Car Park (paid) and access the venue that way via the escalators.

What happens when it comes to breakdown on Thursday?

  • Different to previous years, load out will be after the last speaker on Thursday 8th May (in previous years it was during the last speaker).

  • We're able to fit 4 vehicles at a time every 15 mins from 4.14pm onwards in the loading bay.

  • Sponsors can start breaking down their stand once the delegates have left the venue from 4pm onwards. Those in the first slot will be able to advance through the corridors down to the loading bays with their stand contents to meet the vehicle at the bottom. The next lot of 4 will be able to advance once the first 4 vehicles have been removed from the loading bays.

Loading Bay Location

The Loading Bay Entrance is the lane to the RIGHT of the Resorts World Multistory entrance. You’ll see the sloped lane on the right.

Getting to the event

The VOX Conference Centre can be accessed via the Lakeside Entrance or the main shopping level of Resorts World.

The path from our designated car park will pass the Crowne Plaza hotel and lead you to the Lakeside entrance into Resorts World, whereby the VOX is situated on the second floor - there is a lift outside Nando’s. Alternatively if you come in via the main shopping level the lift is by Las Iguana’s.
